Welcome to GR Grub 2.0!
On behalf of all the writers who assisted on this project, I’d like to welcome you to GR Grub, version 2.0. After months of testing, we’ve finally let our new design loose in the wild for you to enjoy. With it comes additional features and an easy-to-use interface. Here are just some of the new features we’ve included; we hope you enjoy!
Mobile Interface - Visit grgrub.com on your mobile phone and you’ll be greeted with a new look! Our simple, easy-to-read interface offers you a rundown of the latest reviews (and comments), as well as a link to our Twitter feed.
New Rating System - Ever wonder why we gave that restaurant 3 stars instead of 4? Here’s a brief look at what our stars mean:
- ★ – Horrible experience; would not recommend
- ★★ – Below average
- ★★★ – Average; could do better
- ★★★★ – Above average; would go back again
- ★★★★★ – Superb!
Classifieds - We now offer free classifieds for local restaurants! If you have a server, cook, or any other position available, feel free to e-mail us at foodies@grgrub.com to submit your free ad.
Better Twitter Integration - With the new design comes a better integration with Twitter. As soon as we post a new review, you’ll be the first one to know about it, with automatic updates! Plus, when you write #grgrub at the end of your Twitter post, it will appear on GR Grub’s website! Use this feature to tell us your experience, give suggestions for Saturday night, or tell about the long wait at the restaurant down the street.
Events Calendar - Our updated events calendar allows you to view events at a glance month-to-month. No more limitations; it’s all right there for you!
We hope you enjoy the new design of GR Grub. Over the next few days we might be tweaking a few things, so if something’s broken, just try again in a few seconds. And if you have any feedback to share, we’d love to hear it!
